With an extensive military career spanning over 34 years, General Ray Palumbo is a seasoned professional in Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR), Special Operations, and Aviation/Aerospace, bringing a wealth of expertise and leadership to PAL.

A distinguished graduate of West Point in 1981, General Palumbo has held diverse and impactful roles in his military tenure. His illustrious career culminated with his service as the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence) for Warfighter Support, concurrently serving as the Director of the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Task Force.

Throughout his career, General Palumbo held pivotal positions such as Commanding General, United States Army Alaska, simultaneously serving as the Deputy Commander, United States Alaskan Command. Additionally, he contributed significantly as the Assistant Commanding General of the Joint Special Operations Command and as Deputy Commanding General of the United States Army Special Operations Command. His strategic insights were evident in roles such as Director of Strategy, Plans, and Policy (J-5) at the United States Special Operations Command and as Executive Officer to the Commander of the United States Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.

His international experience is equally noteworthy, having commanded the 12 th Aviation Brigade in Giebelstadt, Germany, and Balad, Iraq, as well as the 5th Battalion, 158 th Aviation Regiment in Giebelstadt.

As a Master Army Aviator, he proudly wears multiple prestigious badges, including the parachutist, pathfinder, air assault, and combat action badges.

General Palumbo serves on the Board of Advisors at PAL, adding substantial talent, expertise, and fresh perspectives to the PAL Senior Advisor team. His wealth of experience and strategic insights further enriches PAL's capabilities, solidifying its position as a leader in the consulting sphere.
